The Naniboujou Lodge in Grand Marais, MN

Named for the Cree god of the outdoors, the lodge was built in 1928 as the first stage of an exclusive private club.

Naniboujou Lodge is on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally intended to be a private sportsman club, it boasted members such as Babe Ruth and Jack Dempsey. Located 15 miles east of Grand Marais on Lake Superior

Our group went to the Sunday Brunch...what an experience!

Home cooking is served in the Cree Indian ornamented Great Hall wherein stands the majestic 200 ton stone fireplace.
