The Gift Horse Restaurant in Foley, AL

You step into another world and back in Foley history when you enter the Gift Horse Restaurant in downtown Foley, AL!

When you enter the doors the beautiful beaded pine envelopes you in another time.  The sparkling chandeliers & stained and leaded glass play with the light in the expansive rooms.  The soaring ceiling adds to the beauty.

The buffet table was in the White House when Grant was President.

Foley's Founding Fathers built the building in 1912 to hold concerts, dances, and cultural events.     The building has served many purposes(hardware store, skating rink, USO club) over the years, until Jackie McLeod, a graduate of Auburn in 1963, began renovations in 1982.
