Crane Point Museum & Nature Center in Marathon, FL

As you enter Crane Point Museum you pass exquisitely handcrafted large bas-relief copper doors with scenes of the Florida Keys sea life.The copper doors were created by a Tampa artist in 1990. Crane Point is operated by the Florida Keys Land & Sea Trust.
The mission of the Florida Keys Land & Sea Trust is to promote environmental stewardship and the heritage of the Florida Keys


 Crane Point includes a museum, nature trails(2 miles),butterfly meadow, Adderley house, wild bird center, Crane house, Cracker house and The Point....

George Adderley House is the oldest house in Monroe County, outside Key West. The home was built out of "tabby" (made of burnt seashells) in the early 1900's.
