Polebridge is an isolated community named for the log bridge that connects the North Fork Road in Glacier National Park to Highway 486, over the Flathead River. This resort community primarily consists of the Polebridge Mercantile and Northern Lights Saloon
Still evidence of the Red Bench Fire, which swept through this area in 1988.

The Polebridge Mercantile is know for it's bakery and "Sticky Buns"!!!!
These deer were the only wildlife we saw during our day trip.
