Kari's Yard "Redo"

Of course our stay in Denver includes a nice visit with Kari, who needed some help getting her yards weeds under control......

Day one included a major "weed whacking" and cutting back the sumac trees/bushes...what an improvement!

Day two we all decided that cutting down the sumac was a must.  The sumac is very invasive, so the stumps were all sprayed with poison ivy kill.....hope that will put an end to the spreading.

A nice red knockout rose was planted along the front fence.  Should be a nice splash of  color. If this knockout rose takes, then Kari will add a couple more along the fence.

One of the sumac stumps after the take down.....holes drilled to help get the poison ivy killer to the roots....

Kari has been working very hard to get her backyard ready for summer, so she only need to add some impatiences for color.... of course, Luna is a big help with all the projects.
