Amigos de Los Ninos de Mexico

We were apart of a group of volunteer that passed out toys and food to the children in Nuevo Progress, Mexico, on Christmas morning. Above photo shows Jan with the gang from Llano Grande RV Resort.
Jan, Carol and Claus at the elementary school where the event took place.
The passing out of toys and food was proceed by a Christmas Parade...above are some parade characters.
The line was around the block waiting for the doors to open.  We figure that gifts were passed out to 3,000 plus children.

Each child got to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.......

Everyone had a chance at the pinata....candy! candy! candy!
We were all told to give our Santa Hats away....this is the young lady that Ted gave his hat to.
Jan passed out bead necklaces and boxes of rice. The children each had two large bags of goods when they headed home.

We well remember the years that we participated from our Trophy Gardens RV Park in Alamo TX. No better way to spend Christmas, but we can no longer join in. Miss it. Enjoyed your pictures.
