Dollywood Day Out

 

Kari and her friends spent a fun day at Dollywood  in Pigeon Forge, TN, near Great Smoke Mountian NP.
A trip to Dollywood while in Pigeon Forge, TN is a must! This great attraction has been recognized as one of the world's best theme parks, offering thrilling rides, award-winning live shows, delicious restaurants, seasonal festivals and much more.
    

Lunch at Molcajetes Mexican Grill

 

Kari was in town to go through her room and edit all her treasures(clean out and donate). We all took a  break to enjoy lunch at our favorite Mexican eatery Molcajetes on W Stone Drive in Kingsport 

Sights and Sounds At The Erwin, TN Apple Festival in Unicoi County

36th Annual Unicoi County Apple Festival- Friday & Saturday, October 4 & 5, 2013 - The Unicoi County Apple Festival drew an estimated 110,000 festival attendees.  The annual event features more than 350 food and craft vendors, three entertainment stages, a large children's area, and numerous contests and tournaments.

During Colby and Joe's visit we spent an enjoyable afternoon in Erwin, TN at their annual Apple Festival. Erwin is a small east TN community located along the Nolichucky River with the Appalachian Trail passing nearby.

Colby and Joe came for a weekend visit. Nice to have a couple of apple pickers, who will enjoy the bounty of this years apple crop.

On The Road Again...Back to TN

During an RV repair stop in Springdale, AR discovered a very good BBQ spot. Had some unexpected repairs done at McGaugh RV in northwestern AR. Of course, it was an unplanned stop for a couple of nights. but Dickey's BBQ Pit was a pleasant surprise.

Camp Robinson Famcamp in North Little Rock, AR, has an all new FHU section. At $12.50/night, it is well worth the stop.
