We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration with our long time friends, Pete and Karen Peterson.

 

Pete and Karen, were our tour guides for all the ins and outs of The Villages. Thanks for being such great hosts!!!!

 

Ted got a taste of a championship golf course at The Villages...the conditions were GREAT!!

Saturday we headed to the beach area to test out our new camera. Had hoped to get lunch at Sea Scapes, but not open for lunch on Saturdays...

Uncle Rodney's Rib House in Tampa

We finished off our tomato picking day at Uncle Rodney's Rib House on S MacDill Ave in Tampa.  Jimmy said this is the best BBQ in  town and he was right.

This was the lunch special...large pork sandwich with two sides for $8 and change.  We will be back!!!

Ruskin, FL Tomato Picking

The soil of Ruskin farms is especially adapted to growing tomatoes. This agricultural community is located along US Route 41 just east of Tampa in Hillsborough County.
