The moose love the willow bushes that are found throughout the campground. You never know when they are going to show up and they always put on a great show for all the campers.

Got to catch up on all the news with our Key West friends, Ned and Linda Evans, at breakfast in Castle Rock. Ned and Linda are on their WESTERN TOUR! Luckily we were able to met in between Denver and Colorado Springs for a few hours to share our adventures. Hope our paths cross again in the near future.....

Father's Day with the girls

 

Kari and Colby came up to Grand Lake for the afternoon on Father's Day. We had a very nice lunch at Betty's Cafe & Bakery and of course, left with some of Betty's homemade bread.

Nice day hike with our hiking buddies, Scout and Patches. The Grand Lake Recreation District has developed one of the few trail systems in the area where you can hike with your dogs. The Colorado River Trail starts near the Grand Lake Golf Course & is 5.2 miles round trip.....
