Frys' parking lot flooding... Shopping area in Surprise, AZ. Got a years worth of rain in the area in 3 days....6+ inches of rain & in the mountains 70 inches of snow!

Quartzsite, AZ RV Show 2010

We spent an entertaining day at the Quartzsite RV Show. Kind of like Woodstock for RVers. All kinds of RV Vendors. If it's not for sale here at Quartzsite it is not being made.

Cerreta Candy Company Glendale, AZ

During Jean and Gerry's visit to the Phoenix area we did the candy tour at Cerreta Candy Co. located near the old downtown area of Glendale, AZ. What a SWEET experience!!

Wickenburg, Arizona

Around the town of Wickenburg, AZ, named for Henry Wickenburg, who discovered gold in 1863 in the area that was called the Vulture Mine.

Wickenburg is considered the Dude Ranch Capital of Arizona. There is still open range in this part of Arizona & the town still has a feel of the old west.

Gate House at the famous Vulture Mine. The gold mine was shut down long ago, but a self guided tour is open to the public.

Cameron's Colorado Visit

We got to see all kinds of new and old RVs. Ted even got to test drive a new Winnebago Tour 40ft class A motor home.

The Arizona Trio

The Arizona Trio put on a great show at Pueblo El Mirage. They sang a mix of Kingston Trio, New Christy Minstrels and Everly Brother's hits. Mike Chamberlin(center) is a winter resident of PEM.
