Superintendent's Revenge The Links OTOW

Ted and other On Top of the World golfers had a fun time playing a wacky game of golf during the "Superintendent's Revenge".

"The Crests" at On Top Of The World, Ocala, FL

The first concert event of 2015 at Circle Square Cultural Center at On Top Of The World was The Crests featuring Tommy Mara. 

This was our first event at the Cultural Center.  As you can see, we were a little early, so Ted took a photo of the Center's auditorium. 

"The Crests" a doo wop and R&B group, was formed in the mid 1950s in the NYC area. Their hits include "16 Candles", "The Angles Listened In" and "Step by Step". Of course, these are song we grow up with, so we enjoyed singing along.  The current members of the group put on a great show....

Busy Week At Our House In "On Top Of The World"

Chuck from Budget Blinds installed plantation shutters on "All" our windows.

Mikell came and activated the house security system.....

Jan got her tropical furniture delivered from Hudson Furniture.  As you can see we still have a few pictures to hang, but we are getting there.

Furniture for the courtyard is pretty much in place...

We are now true Floridians with a privacy screen on the garage...

The stove just had a vent cover with fan, so we upgraded to a new over the range Convection Microwave.  We had really missed not having this appliance. The one in our motor home has spoiled us.

Took a break this afternoon and visited the miniature train Christmas display at Circle Square Commons just a golf cart ride away form our house. 

 Now we are ready for the Christmas Holiday!

Out and About in Ocala

Taken during one of our many trips to Lowes.  Also, have seen people with their dogs wandering the aisles.  Because of the warm weather here animals are allowed in many of the stores, so they won't be left in hot cars.

We were introduced to a great Mexican market and restaurant, Pepe's, by our friends, Karen and Pete Peterson.  Had to get fresh made tamales for Christmas Eve! 

Cameron and Elise's Thanksgiving Trip
