Kari and Curtis Tied the Knot!

January 20, 2017 was a big day for the USA, with  President Trump beginning inaugurated, but also a big day for the Foster and Simmons' Families.  Kari and Curtis tied the knot at the Jonesborough, TN historic Court House at about 2 PM.

Lunch with Jean & Gerry at Willard's in Morriston, FL

Met up with Jean and Gerry at Willard's in Morriston, FL. Willard's was a good rendezvous spot. Located mid-way between Cedar Key, where Jean and Gerry were camping and our home in Ocala. 

Great catching up on the gossip and had a good lunch.....

Winter in Chuckey, TN

Our New Chevrolet Equinox

It has been a long time since we purchased a new car. We did a lot of research and with the help of FMCA's list of 4 on the ground tow-able vehicles we decided on the Chevy Equinox. For the time being we are keeping our Jetta TDI to tow behind our RV.  Since we are in Florida, went with a cool exterior color: Iridescent Pearl (white)

With Ted's recent health issues we were looking for a car that was easy for him to get in and out of. The Equinox has nice wide and high door entry both front seat and back. The interior of the new car is called Saddle Up with jet black accents.

We were also looking for a storage area that we could carry larger items say from Lowes.
