Spaghetti Sauce Making Time in Knoxville

Joe, Colby and Stella made a trip to Grainger County to get fresh off the vine tomatoes for their home made spaghetti sauce.

Joe has plenty of help getting the tomato sauce ready...Gus, Max and Stella are all lending a hand...

Congratulations to Colby on Completing her "MBA"

Yesterday was the big day....all classes and tests completed. Colby was able to finish up the MBA working full and having a baby.  Keep up the good work, Colby!

Now we need to start saving for Stella's education......

Grand Lake Men's Club Meet The Estes Park Men's Club

Ted and all his golf buddies in the Grand Lake Men's Club made the trip to Estes Park Monday to take on their Men's Club....

The Estes Park Golf Course is in great condition expect for the area along the Fish River that flood last Sept, which is all being rebuilt.

Aunt Kari's Visit to Meet Stella Mae

Back to Our Summer Hangout....Grand Lake, CO

This is our 5th summer back in Grand Lake....guess you can say we really like this part of Colorado... clean air, blue skies and great neighbors! 

First morning back we were checking out the golf course and enjoying breakfast at the restaurant. Yes, it is  all still there after a very hard winter.

After settling in at Elk Creek CG Rebecca and Donald gave us a tour of improvements and winter projects at the campground.

Golden, CO's Water Rescue Team

Clear Creek is running high with snow melt and extra rain. Local newspaper report stated that the snow pack was up 200% over last season.

The team is getting ready for what could be a very busy season....

Clear Creek is currently closed to all, but professional kayakers... 

Runway Grill in Broomfield, CO

The Runway Grill at the Jefferson County Airport has been one of our favorites over the years. The food is good, there is a great view of the mountains and it is always fun to watch the plane come and go.
