Hilton Head Island Weekend

Stopped for three days at Hilton Head Island to visit with friends, Dick and Peggy Kerwin. Ted and Dick had a very "slow" golf round at the Rose Hill GC.

 

 

 

 

There is not alot of RV parks to choose from in the Hilton Head area, so we stayed at a Motorcoach Resort. This is a resort where RVers have purchased lots, so each lot was different, with landscaping done by each lot owner.

The lot we rented was very nice with tropical foliage and nice sitting area.

 

Beads in Oldsmar, FL

This is Jan's favorite hangout while in the Tampa area.

Barley is the official greeter. He is always hoping that you have a treat for him......

Holly Hancock(on the phone) is the owner of BEADS and also teaches classes. Other instructors during our winter in Tampa were Marilyn Earhart, Marcia Balonis and Wilma Milian. I feel like I got a PHD in beading with all the great classes.

Walk On The Wild Side

While in Clermont got to have lunch with two of our wild Titanium 5thwheel friends, Russ and Les Johnston, from Ontario, Canada.

Was great catching up on old times and getting to see their new Tri-cycle.

Jan has added the tri-cycle to her list of things to get!!!     

Lake Louisa State Park, Clermont, FL

Lake Louisa State Park offers some of the most beautiful vistas in Central Florida. The park is located right off highway 27 in Clermont. We stayed in their full facility campground, which offers nice full hookups and water/electric sites reserve-able at Reserve America online

 

 

 

 

We spent a very enjoyable weekend catching up with RV buddies, Ned and Linda Evans. and meeting new folks in Ned and Linda's camping club.  Thanks for including us!

What a great experience sailing on a tall ship at sunset our final night in Key West.
