Thunder Bay Photos

Patches found a turtle migrating to who knows where and of course he stayed there staring and growling at it for 30 minutes. From the turtle shot we could look back and see our Thunder Bay camp site.

Arriving in Michigan

A rainy and foggy trip out of Indiana into Michigan on I69
Our first night in Michigan was cold and rainy, but the next morning was beautiful. Our site was next to a small lake in Ithaca.
We added Michigan and Indiana to our travel map shortly after arriving at Thunder Bay Golf and RV Resort in Hillman, MI. This is our 6th workamper season. Thunder Bay Resort looks like a wonderful location and we will post many more photos of the area
as we learn the lay of the land.

Kentucky Horse Park CG

Well after an eventful 24 hours on our first travel day, we finally made it to the Kentucky Horse Park. Sites are paved slivers but there is plenty of grass and space between neighbors. Since this is early in the season the park isn't that full. We'll see about coming back to take in the sights and see some horses.

Flat Tire Problem

We started out on Monday morning and 40 miles down the road we had a little problem with the left rear tire. We didn't make it to Kentucky Horse Park but instead camped in the Tri-AM RV Center in Bulls Gap. Lucky for us they were visible from where we had our tire problem. What a way to start a trip!
