Trip from El Mirage - Colorado
On 11-19 March we took a break from Pueblo El Mirage to make a surprise drive Boulder, Colorado to help Grandma Whitcomb celebrate her 92nd birthday. Guess we succeeded and the 2200 mile round trip was worth the four days of travel. We also celebrated the engagement of our daughter Colby to Joe Baker ( they are made for each other ) and our other daughter Kari's first house. All three celebrations were first rate and here's some of the scenery we took in while in Colorado.

Cougar Canyon, Trinidad, CO
We stopped to look at properties at a home and golf course community called Cougar Canyon. As you can see this high desert community is just beginning to blossom and the golf course is very highly regarded in golfing circles. We also met one of the builder/architects and it just so happens he grew up one town over from where Ted spent his younger days - eons ago. Carl - the architect - is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. Small world.
