Mazzaro's Italian Market Restocking Trip

A must stop in St. Petersburg, FL is Mazzaro's Italian Market. It is a wonderful place to have lunch, then wander the aisles to see what new things you will discover...

From fresh roasted coffee to the meat market, delicious deli selections, gourmet baked goods to handmade pastas and specialty cheeses, Mazzaro’s is more than a one-of-a-kind Italian gourmet market ....

Mazzaro's carries an amazing selection of hundreds of varieties of pastas - but it's their fresh pasta that steals the show

Ravioli,  Manicotti, Angel Hair, Fettuccini, Linguini.........

Naval Station Mayport, FL Views

We were lucky this visit to Naval Station Mayport Famcamp to get an RV site on the front row, which means you get to see all the shipping activity heading in and out of port.

These photos were taken from right in front or our motorhome...

Look close there is a cat in the rocks...

High winds our last two days in Mayport made for interesting seas...

Mayport, First Stop in Florida

Heading for the Atlantic coast and Mayport Navy Station Famcamp

This rustic fish camp has been serving every imaginable kind of fresh-off-the-boat seafood since 1969. And rustic it is, constructed primarily of unpainted, well-weathered plywood nailed to two-by-fours

Georgia Veteran's Memorial State Park on Lake Blackshear

Georgia Veteran's State Park is a state park located on Lake Blackshear in Crisp County, west of Cordele, Georgia. It was established in 1931 as a memorial to U.S. Veterans

Our stay here was during the week, which is quitter, so was able to get a nice lakeside site.

The nice golf course was a draw for Ted, plus the great greens fees for veterans.

Ted celebrates the Red Sox winning the 2013 World Series and oh, by the way, Halloween

Passing thro Georgia

Our first night out after leaving the WIT Rally in Lebanon, TN, was spent at the Navy recreation area on Lake Allatoona in northern GA.

Located only 30 miles north of Atlanta, Ga. Lake Allatoona, the serene lake and peaceful surroundings offer a respite from the rush of city living. It is one of the most frequently visited Corps of Engineers lakes in the nation. More than six million visitors each year

During our stay in Cordele, GA we went hunting for pecans and found a great fruit and vegetable stand..."Little Farmer's Market" in Leslie, GA.

The clerk was very knowledgeable and a helped us decide which of the many types of pecans to get. We choose "Pawnee", which has bigger nuts and seemed sweeter.
