Grand Lake, CO Pancake Breakfast and Buffalo BBQ Weekend

The annual barbecue is packed full of music, a 5K run/walk, bingo, a pancake breakfast on Saturday, and a parade on Sunday. This is an all weekend event running for three days, beginning with a lighted boat parade on Friday night. Live music resonates throughout the town from local restaurants all weekend.  This western, fun-filled weekend also includes staged cowboy shootouts, children’s games, a parade on Sunday, and of course buffalo barbecue!

The rotary members have a secret recipe for their pancakes and their not giving it out!

It's like being a KID again!

Games for young and old...

Jan's Away ...The Moose Will Play

While Jan was visiting in the Boulder area yesterday, this large bull moose visited our campsite and stayed for lunch. Ted took the photos out of the motor home window, so as not to interrupt  Mr Moose's snack.

Kari in Martha's Vineyard.....

Martha's Vineyard (Wampanoag: Noepe) is an island (including the smaller Chappaquiddick Island) located south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts, known for being an affluent summer colony.
Often called just "The Vineyard," the island has a land area of 100 square miles (260 km2). It is the 58th largest island in the United States and the third largest on the East Coast of the United States. It is also the largest island not connected to mainland by a bridge or tunnel on the East Coast of the United States.
