Entrance to Highlands Hammock Florida State Park, Sebring, FL, a photo of a black vulture "rookery" and a large white Egret out hunting for lunch in the Hammock and lastly, our campsite. We came at the right time as lots of folks including many of the volunteers were starting to wrap up the season and head home.

Highlands Hammock Fl State Park

One of the many board walks through the park areas, a "momma" gator and her baby as seen along the walkway and a flowering plant and last - the statue to the Civilian Conservation Corps ( CCC ) that built this and many other state parks througout the nation.

The practice track was in use and it sounded like large chain saws running full out or as 1000 hives of angry bees that had been broken into as the Formula I racers came around the track. Pretty interesting to watch.
